Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Setup and administration of Linux servers (e.g., Redhat, AIX & Ubuntu) including RAID, LVM, Samba, iSCSI, GFS2, Docker.
- Achieving automation through Scripting.
- Administration of Backup systems (e.g., Veeam) including AWS backups.
- Setup and administration of servers with Windows and Unix OS (setup, administration, patching, vulnerability assessment, remediation).
- Administration of Linux clusters including Oracle RAC, CDP/CDH, MapR, SQL.
- Network administration (Firewall, Network Monitoring, DNS, VPN).
- General administration of AWS and IBM Cloud resources.
Qualifications:
- University degree (BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech) in relevant field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Linux (RedHat Enterprise, AIX, Ubuntu).
- Scripting knowledge (Linux) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of data backup and restore software (e.g., Veeam).
- Knowledge of working in VMware on Cloud.
- Experience with IaaS tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, OpenTofu).
- Knowledge in configuring and maintaining resources on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge in Hadoop, DB2, and Oracle RAC setup & administration.
- Expertise in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Understanding of IP environments (troubleshooting and diagnosing routing, switching, firewall, NAT, VPN, DHCP, DNS).
- Ability to communicate complex technical problems clearly.
