Senior ITDR Threat Intelligence Analyst

What You'll Do:

• Conduct research on emerging adversary tradecraft to identify attack patterns.
• Aggregate threat data to create reports demonstrating Huntress's value and highlighting various reported threats.
• Develop reports for marketing to showcase Huntress's value to the wider community.
• Promote Huntress through media interactions, public speaking, and blogs.
• Collaborate with the Director of Adversary Tactics, SOC, Product, and Marketing for project deliverables.
• Enhance Huntress visibility by utilizing external threat intelligence sources.
• Write blog posts and marketing materials on emerging threat trends.
• Investigate identity compromises, initial access, and subsequent access to understand attacker behavior.
• Test vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and attack paths to develop PoC exploits.
• Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Document research findings in technical write-ups, advisories, reports, and blogs.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineering, SOC, Hunt, Product, and Marketing teams for successful product delivery.
• Engage with and report to executive stakeholders.
• Communicate security expertise to non-technical audiences.
• Promote security awareness in creative ways.

What You Bring to The Team:

• 5+ years of cybersecurity threat intelligence experience
• 2+ years of cloud security experience
• 2+ years of identity security experience
• Experience with SIEM tools
• Familiarity with detection engineering
• Experience in threat hunting
• Development experience (e.g., SaaS, Windows, macOS, C/C++, GoLang, Python)
• Cloud attack knowledge (Azure, Google)
• PoC development experience
• API documentation reading experience
• Experience with Elastic and Kibana
• OSINT gathering and analysis experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• IAM experience
• Cyber Network Operator/Cyber Technical Operator experience
• Azure/Google incident response experience
• Security conference presentation experience
• Security community education experience
