Responsibilities
Establish and implement industry best practices for mobile automation.
Implement a reusable automation framework for testing mobile applications.
Estimate, design, develop, and execute automated test procedures and cases based on requirements for mobile applications.
Analyze product environment, architecture, and interdependencies to apply appropriate test methodologies and cases.
Build roadmaps for automation adoption and mentor teams.
Ensure scalability and maintainability of automated test suites, including updates, refactoring, and optimization of test scripts to accommodate changes in mobile apps.
Analyze existing mobile automation practices and provide feedback for improvements.
Collaborate with delivery teams on initial automation adoption and process setup.
Proficiency in Java or C#.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 5+ years in Mobile Automation.
Experience in mobile testing and setting up Mobile automation frameworks
Experience with Automated Mobile test Framework and tools like Appium
Design, implementation, and delivery of scalable, maintainable, configurable, and robust test automation frameworks.
Experience with emulator-based testing tools, simulators, and real devices.
Experience with BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
Experience with different Mobile Operating Systems (Android and iOS platforms).
Understanding of GitHub, Azure, or other Repos.
Sound understanding of working in a CI/CD and DevOps environment.
Experience with mobile application testing (functional and non-functional), UI testing, and compatibility testing.
Solid understanding of testing web applications, REST APIs (ideally using Postman).
Understanding of different types of testing: Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, and Release Management.
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Prior experience in a Testing Centre of Excellence or similar setup is an advantage.
Excellent communication, collaboration, trust-building, listening, and negotiation skills.
