The Position: We're seeking a Lead Advanced Analytics Analyst to join our Customer Operations team. This role will support stakeholders across our online sportsbook and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of projects to improve the sportsbook customer experience.
- Conduct journey mapping and monitor customer service contacts/KPIs to identify pain points and measure the success of product initiatives.
- Illustrate sportsbook player experience using customer data to provide actionable insights to relevant teams.
- Lead a team of professional analysts, focusing on both business results and team member development.
- Engage and influence executives with strategic recommendations based on customer analytics.
- Lead Voice of the Customer & Insights initiatives.
- Identify and communicate key responsibilities to foster a successful work environment.
- Evaluate user journeys across the sportsbook (e.g., Marketing, Product, Commercial, Engineering).
- Develop business cases, conduct big data analytics, and build models using tools like Tableau, Quantum Metrics, Amazon Redshift, Amplitude, Azure, and Salesforce.
- Quantify data variances using statistical methods, including traditional and newer Big Data approaches.
- Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Customer Service, and other teams to define tracking specifications.
- Support web data production and distribution.
- Provide strategic business recommendations using advanced modeling to predict outcomes.
- Identify data gaps to improve storytelling about customer experience journeys.
- Develop and implement metrics for a differentiated customer view.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.). Master's degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in Customer Experience, Sportsbook/Gaming, or Analytics.
- Required regulatory licensure.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Tableau (or similar).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of sports betting and online gambling platforms is a plus.
