Full-Time Senior Manager, Analytics

Position Summary:RCX Sports is experiencing explosive growth. We empower League Operators to deliver safe, organized, fun recreational league experiences. Our platform model provides resources, training, technology, and support to enhance youth sports experiences.

The Senior Analytics Manager plays a key role in centralizing analytics, building a scalable reporting function, and improving data accessibility.

Responsibilities:

• Own the analytics function, centralizing reporting and establishing automated solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and custom analytics for improved data accessibility and usability.
• Develop an analytics roadmap, tracking progress, and handling reporting/data requests.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Engineering to define needs and ensure analytics align with strategic decision-making.
• Provide data-driven insights for planning, investments, supply chain decisions, and performance tracking.
• Implement and enforce data governance practices for reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting workflows.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Manage and develop a team of Data Analysts.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure infrastructure supports analytics needs.
• Drive adoption of analytics tools by training internal teams.

Skills & Experience:

• 5-8 years analytics experience, 2+ years in management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred; 10+ years experience acceptable in lieu.
• Strong expertise in data visualization, reporting automation, SQL, and analytics strategy.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
• SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Understanding of data pipeline management (dbt, Fivetran, Airflow)
• Experience in running and analyzing A/B tests.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced analytical methods (Python, R)
• Cloud data warehousing platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery)
• CRM/marketing analytics tools (Salesforce, Mailchimp)
• Heroku Connect for Salesforce data syncing.
• Hands-on Salesforce experience

Additional Details:

• Travel: Less than 10%
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (some nights/weekends as needed)
• Compensation: $100,000-$107,000/year, plus bonus
• Reports to: Melissa Kandrach
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Will oversee a team
