Job Details
As a Manual, Automation, and Performance Tester, responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality across functional and non-functional areas of the application.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Preparation: Understand requirements, review specifications, create test plans.
- Manual Testing: Execute test cases, perform UI/API testing, log defects in JIRA.
- Automation Testing: Design automated scripts using Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber.
- API & Performance Testing: Test REST APIs using Postman/Rest Assured, execute performance tests with JMeter.
- Collaboration: Participate in agile ceremonies, collaborate with developers.
- Data & Environment Management: Prepare test data, coordinate with DevOps.
- Documentation & Reporting: Document results, prepare test summary reports.
Essential Technical Skills:
- Manual Testing: Test Case Design & Execution, Defect Reporting, Regression & Exploratory Testing
- Automation Testing: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Maven, Git, AWS DevOps, POM
- API Testing: Postman, Rest Assured
- Performance Testing: Apache JMeter, Throughput, Latency, Error %, and Bottleneck Analysis
- Test Management: JIRA, Confluence
Desirable Skills: DevOps/CI-CD Integration, SQL, ISTQB Certification.
