Full-Time Senior Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer

Collaborate with product managers and developers to create test strategies for all layers of the mobile software design.

Design and improve the testing process/continuous integration pipeline for both the Android and iOS teams.

Create detailed strategic test plans, actionable bug reports and follow-up on reviews.

Write and execute functional and regression, smoke and sanity tests.

Qualifications

• A university degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science or a related field of study or equivalent.
• Strong experience in writing test cases and test plans.
• Experience with Android Studio, Android Emulator and ADB as well as Xcode, iPhone Simulator and iPhone devices.
• Proficiency in utilizing Git/Github for version control.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar task management tools.
• Experience with defect logging and defect tracking until closure.
• Work experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, with the ability to adapt testing strategies to fit Agile workflows.
• Very good language skills in English and willingness to work in an international English-speaking team.

Nice to have:

• Experience reading and understanding iOS (Swift, Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin, Java) Code
• Assist in investigating test failures, perform root-cause analysis
• Experience in development or test automation tools/frameworks as well as commercial test management tools like XRay, TestRail
• Knowledge of performance testing
