Full-Time Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure supporting multiple labs and users.
• Ensure network availability, security, and scalability.
• Design and implement scalable, secure network solutions.
• Configure and install enterprise-grade network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Implement advanced routing, switching, and VPN configurations (BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, IPSec, SSL).
• Support MPLS network design and deployment, QoS policies, and port-aggregation.
• Develop and implement network security protocols.
• Manage firewall rules, ACLs, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to network alerts/alarms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network performance/security issues.
• Lead technical aspects of IT infrastructure projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical resource.
• Collaborate with server, storage, application, and desktop teams.
• Contribute to technology initiatives (cloud integration, security upgrades).
• Maintain accurate network architecture documentation.
• Define and improve network operations procedures.
• Support VoIP and telephony troubleshooting.
• Provide secure VPN access to remote users/labs.
• Prepare network performance/availability reports.
• Perform related duties as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong English communication (written & verbal).
• Flexible schedule (24x7x365).
• Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
• Explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Travel required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years or Associate degree with 8+ years experience or 10+ years equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with Cisco, Fortigate, and Checkpoint.
• Experience deploying/managing Next-Generation Firewalls.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (BGP, MPLS, QoS, VLANs, EIGRP, static routing, trunking).
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, micro-segmentation, and modern trends.
• Highly regulated environments (preferred).
• Multitasking and prioritization in fast-paced environments.
• Minimal supervision.
• Continuous learning & professional growth.
• Interest in emerging network technologies.
• Professional English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
