Senior Network Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Maintain key Network devices daily.
• Support user community via ServiceNow tickets, assist in problem resolution.
• Monitor LAN, WAN, Load Balancing, VPN, Security, and Wi-Fi operations.
• Monitor project and daily operations related to network services.
• Provide timely project status updates.
• Perform operational tasks with ServiceNow ticket support.
• Understand and support LAN, WAN, VPN, WLS, IPT, Load Balancing, Security, and content filtering.
• Isolate network infrastructure problems.
• Participate in enterprise infrastructure on-call rotation.
• Participate in projects across the enterprise network.
• Support campus environments, remote sites, and corporate data center locations.
• Develop operational knowledge of network tools.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Extensive experience in Network Engineering.
• Expert knowledge in at least two of the following: Load Balancers, Firewalls, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, Security, Cloud Networks, Automation, and Programming (Python).
• Relevant certifications (CCNP or higher held continuously for 6+ years).
• Exposure to multiple technologies and processing environments.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals.
• Security qualifications and cloud experience.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of network integration with storage, compute, virtualization, security, and wireless systems.
• Strong time management and critical thinking skills.
• Troubleshooting skills to resolve network issues.
• Understanding of large enterprise environments (300 sites).

• Cisco networking technologies
• Cloud services (AWS, SoftCloud, Azure)
• Network tools (Fluke, Infoblox, SolarWinds)
• Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
• Switching technologies
• Network security

• Remote site performance investigation
• Experience with network infrastructure and interconnecting devices
