Full-Time Senior Palantir Developer

As a Data Engineer, you'll help clients scale data solutions and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cloud ELT and data pipelines
• Develop CI/CD pipelines
• Communicate with business and technology teams
• Understand business needs and pain points
• Meet client needs with technology
• Explain technical benefits and deficits to non-technical audiences
• Learn new data tools and best practices
• Design and build performant ELT jobs
• Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and aggregation
• Scale and automate data preparation techniques
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines
• Develop client-facing design documents
• Understand data modeling approaches (e.g., Kimball, Inman)
• Utilize consulting skills (analytical, communication, presentation)
• Identify business and technical impacts

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years data engineering experience
• 5+ years experience with PySpark and/or Python
• 2+ years experience with Palantir Foundry or Foundry Pipeline Builder
• 2+ years experience with Palantir Foundry Streams or comparable real-time data streaming technology
• Experience with Python, SQL, Airflow, Talend, Matillion, DBT, Fivetran
• Experience working with business to understand data models
• Deep experience designing and building performant ELT jobs
• Experience with scaling & automation to data preparation
• Experience developing client-facing documents (data flows, requirements)
• Understanding of data modeling (Kimball, Inman, Data Vault)
• Excellent consulting, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to identify business and technical impacts
