Full-Time Senior Performance Analyst

Company Overview: PayNearMe develops payment technology for businesses. They process over $1B in payments monthly, with a team spread across the U.S.

Job Summary: The Senior Performance Analyst will join a small, dynamic team reporting to the VP of Performance and Scale. The role focuses on identifying potential performance problems in production systems and driving solutions through analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Create dashboards in Looker and Datadog to track performance.
• Identify future performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct and direct experiments to test load conditions.
• Implement alerts for potential issues.
• Run performance load tests, analyzing results via scripting.
• Document and publish experiment results.
• Create summaries of overall performance.
• Extend Javascript-based performance tests.
• Collaborate with other teams to gather client scaling data and define KPIs.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Looker, Datadog, MySQL, Excel).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling.
• Self-motivated problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work closely with engineers.
• Collaboration and communication skills with other teams.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
