Experian Consumer Services is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to focus on user behavior reporting, performance updates, and deep-dive analyses.
As part of the Data Science and Analytics Team, you'll translate requirements into data questions, write complex SQL queries, compile and cleanse data, analyze it, and prepare reports/dashboards.
You'll provide insights into online behaviors and identify opportunities to maximize outcomes, focusing on product analytics and user behavior with our consumer app.
You'll collaborate with Product, Integrated Marketing, UX, Technology, and Business Operations to improve business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage SQL code for data transfer between Snowflake, AWS Redshift, S3, and other data warehouses.
- Create tables and data pipelines using Alteryx/Apache Airflow for monitoring and reporting.
- Develop Tableau dashboards.
- Analyze member activity (engagement behavior, acquisition rates, communication touch points, billing persistency) to provide insights on retention and revenue.
- Use analytical tools to understand customer behavior and improve experience (website/app user behavior, email engagement, conversion analysis, marketing effectiveness).
- Conduct A/B testing, cohort analysis, regression analysis, and other statistical methods to uncover insights.
- Collaborate with BI and Engineering to resolve data issues.
- Provide dashboard solutions, identify trends/issues in data, and make recommendations.
- Develop and implement quantitative data infrastructure to answer business questions and improve product performance.
- Present analytical results and insights to partners to influence decisions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field), or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in analytics/statistics.
- Experience in business analytics, quantitative reasoning, and metrics reporting with the capacity to support claims with correlating data points.
- Knowledge of relational database theory and proficient in writing and understanding complex SQL code.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx) and real-time dashboard development.
- Ability to understand data, summarize large volumes of data and complex questions into clear analyses and applicable findings using quantitative reasoning.
- Experience with relational data sets, data warehouses, data mining, and data analysis techniques.
- Analytical thinker with the capacity to provide insight into online behaviors, activities, and identify opportunities to improve the online experience.
- Uncover trends and spot anomalies.
- Demonstrated understanding of web analysis concepts (traffic metrics, online user behavior tracking, pathing behavior, segmentation).
