Overview: The Senior Program Analyst develops, administers, and troubleshoots computer programming software for efficient processing and secure large-scale data. The role involves data analysis, automation, and reporting, ensuring data integrity and security while supporting enterprise initiatives. The analyst identifies trends, develops automation scripts, and optimizes data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development & Administration: Design, implement, and maintain software solutions that process large datasets securely and efficiently.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to extract insights and identify trends.
- Automation & Optimization: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline tasks, improve workflows, and enhance efficiency.
- Data Security & Governance: Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance standards.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work with data leaders, operational entities, and cross-functional teams to enhance data integration.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to enhance data architecture.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, data analysis, automation, and IT operations.
- Experience in Data Architecture, Data Quality Analysis, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Catalog Development, Security & Privacy, and Interagency Coordination.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, or other programming languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Expertise in cloud-based data processing, security frameworks, and automation tools.
- Familiarity with privacy-preserving techniques and regulatory compliance.
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Clearance Requirements: Active Top-Secret clearance and US Citizenship.
