Full-Time Senior QA Automation

Job Description:

As part of the Nearshore teams, the consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing strategies to ensure the quality of Java applications and web platforms developed by the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and execute automated tests.
• Manage test environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and fix bugs.

Skills:

• Strong Java programming skills for designing and implementing automated tests.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium for functional and UI tests.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• CI/CD experience and tools like Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• API testing tools experience (e.g., Postman).
• Web application development knowledge (e.g., Laravel).
• Containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
• End-to-End testing.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Sprint Planning, Backlog).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of QA experience, with both manual and automated testing experience.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification is a plus.
