As the Senior QA Automation Engineer (Salesforce)​, you will own delivery and mentor other members of the team. You will lead and ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous manual and automated testing.

• Collaborate with other Leads to provide support and recommendations regarding testing approach impacting other teams
• Effectively communicate with the management and delivery leads
• Conduct presentations to cross-functional groups on test solutions delivered
• Represent your technical area and IT on cross-functional enhancements and projects, including the coordination and resolution of appropriate issues.
• Own the triage process
• Act as a Regression Coordinator across teams.
• Ensure IT Principles & Values are followed.
• Monitor Delivery Team metrics and drive improvements
• Drive team members to suggest ideas for innovation and ensure follow-through.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior members to enable them to contribute more effectively
• Provide out of hours support as requested for incidents
• Coordinate test efforts with all affected parties, e.g., business stakeholders, other IT teams
• Contribute to Performance Feedback
• Participate in technical analysis and design review sessions
• Lead in bug and metric review meetings for stream

Manual

• Actively monitor and ensure sufficient test coverage and initiate reviews as required.
• Design test implementation and produce supporting documentation
• Continuously review test approach of the team to identify issues and drive improvements
• Independently lead the complete delivery of multiple projects.
• Contribute and perform test coverage reviews
• Organize regression activity of the team and own status reporting
• Lead the complete delivery for a large project(s) with minimal support

Automation

• Conducts regular peer reviews and source control PR approvals.
• Maintain, update and fix CI Implementation and regularly implement process improvement in CI Architecture.
• Consolidate CI Execution Results and communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Engage in discussions with stakeholders in terms of Automation Coverage and new opportunities for Automation.
• Can adapt to different test automation technologies and lead proof of concept initiatives
• Able to mentor junior resources on how to implement test automation and shares best practices
• Contributes to the overall architecture of the automation framework and seeks ways to implement process improvements
• Drives self to become SME for test automation and contributes to the development of other team members
• Conducts regular peer reviews and source control PR approvals

• 5+ years of solid experience in application QA/testing.
• 2+ years of QA leadership experience.
• SFDC background is a must.
• Experience with SFDC test automation tools.
• Experience in functional, enterprise-system level testing and a strong desire to learn automated testing tools like Selenium or Provar.
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing practices.
• Ability to ensure accountability and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven record of driving results and engagement, while supporting team objectives.
• Expertise in creating, planning, and executing test strategies and test plans to promote quality in all aspects of delivery
