Job Summary: We are seeking a hands-on technical leader for our QA automation efforts across web, mobile, and API projects. You'll be instrumental in shaping our test automation strategy and leading a talented team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead QA automation efforts across web, mobile, and API projects.
- Act as the tech lead for the automation team, setting best practices, and defining test strategies.
- Write, maintain, and evolve automated tests using Playwright and Detox.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other QA engineers.
- Build scalable automated test suites for CI/CD.
- Proactively identify automation and optimization opportunities.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Mentor and lead other engineers in automation best practices.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong TypeScript expertise with Playwright.
- Proficiency in writing maintainable test code.
- Experience setting up automation pipelines.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance.
- Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented approach.
- Experience with TDD and BDD principles.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation engineering.
