Full-Time Senior QA Engineer

The QA Engineer position focuses on providing excellent customer experience by fully understanding customer needs and collaborating with technical architects, project management, and development teams to meet those needs.

This role advocates for Blend360 service quality, leveraging/integrating new QA products/technologies, and mentoring junior QA engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with development to identify potential issues impacting product quality.
• Validate data quality, model performance, and system functionality throughout all solution lifecycle phases.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with requirements.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Contribute to architecture and design activities.
• Evaluate business needs and objectives.
• Seek alternative technology solutions to problems.
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with Data engineers, Architects, data scientists, and business analysts.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience as QA Engineer, SDET, or similar.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, IT, or related field.
• English level B2 or higher.
• Deep understanding of at least one object-oriented programming library (preferably Python).
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of SQL-based data warehouses and relational databases.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in PySpark.
• General interest in technology with ability to learn and adapt.
• Familiarity with Azure services (Data Lake, Blob Storage, Key Vault).
• Effective communication with developers and management.
