Full-Time Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary:Seeking a Senior QA Engineer, Shopify to join our Commerce Team. You'll work closely with Senior Shopify Engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies for Shopify-based e-commerce solutions.
2. Build automated and manual testing frameworks for front-end, back-end, and integrations.
3. Collaborate with engineers to identify issues early in development.
4. Conduct end-to-end, regression, performance, and security testing.
5. Verify integrations with third-party platforms (ERP, CMS, OMS/WMS).
6. Identify, document, and track defects in Jira.
7. Define and enforce quality standards.
8. Research and implement new QA tools.
9. Conduct client-facing testing and support UAT processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years QA experience, focusing on e-commerce (Shopify experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Familiarity with APIs and testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
• Experience testing headless e-commerce implementations (React, Hydrogen, Next.js).
• Proven track record testing large-scale Shopify solutions.
• Experience in Agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of ERP, CMS, and OMS/WMS integrations (Netsuite, Sanity, Manhattan).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• (Preferred) Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• (Preferred) Familiarity with Shopify APIs and native subscriptions.
• (Preferred) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
• (Preferred) Shopify certifications or equivalent.
