The Role: Telgorithm is looking to hire a Senior QA Engineer who will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our API endpoints. They will work closely with the development team to identify risks, automate testing processes, and drive continuous improvement in the quality of our API products.
Location and Language: This is a remote position for which we are accepting applicants in Europe and nearby time zones with preference for candidates in: the European Union (excluding Germany), Georgia, Armenia, and the United Arab Emirates. All candidates must be able to provide proof of identity and work authorization to work as a contractor in their country of residence. Proficiency with Russian is a must have.
What you’ll do:- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of a Telgorithm messaging application.
- Ensure API integrations function seamlessly by designing and executing detailed API testing.
- Automate test processes using tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability in testing workflows.
- Maintain existed and develop new Automation tests using Playwright (Typescript).
- Experience in functional testing
- Experience in testing API services and using tools such as Postman and similar
- Experience with writing various SQL queries
- Deep understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Experience with Cypress or Playwright (Typescript) or readiness to switch to this tool
