Looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Engineering team. We seek an organized, detail-oriented, proactive person with a strong interest in automated testing to raise product quality via test automation and continuous improvement.

Typical workday includes:

1. Developing and executing test plans and cases (new features, regression)
2. Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for APIs, backend services, and web applications (using Cypress or similar)
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, product management, support) to develop testing strategies
4. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and inconsistencies
5. Providing timely feedback to the development team
6. Improving QA processes and methodologies
7. Participating in feature design and review (quality input)
8. Performing performance and security testing to ensure industry standards are met

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Portuguese and intermediate English
• 7+ years of QA experience
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright; preferred Cypress)
• Solid database testing experience (writing and executing SQL queries)
• Knowledge of problem analysis and resolution
• Experience with web application and HTTP API testing, automated testing tools and frameworks

Additional Qualifications:

• Non-relational database experience (e.g., Elasticsearch)
• QA experience in microservices architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
