Full-Time Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze, design, develop, maintain, evaluate and assure the quality and performance of software system components.
2. Define quality control process and its integration with development process.
3. Analyze project requirements of low, medium, and high complexity.
4. Determine needs for testing functional and non-functional system requirements.
5. Estimate effort for implementing tests.
6. Analyze design proposals for improvements.
7. Develop test plans based on requirements.
8. Generate high-level tests for requirements.
9. Design and implement frameworks for scheduled tests.
10. Design and implement integration and system tests.
11. Implement low-level test cases.
12. Define strategy for keeping tests up-to-date.
13. Design and implement scheduled tests.
14. Run test cases manually and automatically.
15. Verify and issue reports of test case execution results (e.g., defect reports, daily reports, debt reports, analysis reports).
16. Ensure quality control process adherence, identify variations, and define corrective actions.
17. Issue test reports for closing iterations and deployment to production.
18. Issue project completion reports.
19. Document lessons learned and follow up.
20. Document technical and process aspects (technical documentation, timesheets, workflow).

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge in Object-oriented, functional, procedural, and asynchronous programming.
• Software engineering processes (development cycle and quality control).
• Software quality assurance (unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing).
• Automated, performance, load, stress, API tests.
• System design standards, good development practices, and system testing.
• Documentation (test cases, design diagrams, README.md, API, wiki).
• Agile methodologies (SCRUM and Kanban).
• Experience with specific tools (Selenium, Jmeter, TestNG, POSIX shell, Maven, Gradle, etc).
• Experience with continuous integration tools (Travis, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Relational and non-relational databases.
• Code management tools (Source Control).
• Basic knowledge of AWS.
• Proficient in Java, Javascript/NodeJS, Python, JSON, or SQL.

Academic & Experience Requirements:

• Technician or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 4 years in test-oriented software development.

Language:

• Technical and conversational English (B2+).
