Full-Time Senior Quality Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a strong technical Quality Engineer experienced with risk-based context-driven testing to build and evolve our DNSFilter application.

As a Quality Engineer on our Integrations and Billing Team, you will play an integral role in testing complex scalable solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Software Testing distributed SaaS applications
• Experience with testing & debugging Cloud Based Systems (AWS, Redis, Chargebee/Stripe, 3rd party integrations)
• A talent for analysis, communication, interpretation, and problem-solving
• Strong knowledge of SDLC as it relates to quality
• Experience working remotely under minimal supervision
• Experience with Postman & API testing, Javascript, Playwright
• Experience with performance, load & security testing
• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Ability to work in hours overlapping with the EST timezone
• Must be eligible to work in the country of residence without sponsorship

Bonus Points:

• Experience developing and maintaining test automation
• Experience setting up & maintaining enterprise-level test labs
• Experience testing SSO, SAML, OIDC, 2FA, IAM
• Strong understanding of network protocols, configuration, administration & DNS

Responsibilities:

• Study and learn the product and integration points.
• Identify and work on complex problems.
• Test new and existing features.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and debug issues.
• Perform Systems Level Testing and Analysis.
• Design and execute test plans and test cases.
• Independently plan, estimate, and deliver on projects.
• Write concise actionable bug reports.
