Full-Time Senior Research Analyst

Responsibilities:

1. Client Consulting: Understand client needs, deliver with excellence, and make an impact. Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews. Attend client planning meetings, contributing Nielsen insights and solutions.
2. Communicate with mid-level clients on research queries.
3. Handle presentations to mid-level clients or audiences.
4. Manage client communication crises, especially with mid-level clients.
5. Take ownership of projects, managing client relationships and consulting throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Ensure all reports' presentations clearly convey insights and actionable recommendations.
7. Commercial Leadership: Assist AD/CS Lead with project scoping tasks (database checks, target group identification), and attend client briefing calls.
8. Project Management: Proactively address client issues and needs. Stay updated on all project stages and monitor progress. Ensure timely and precise client service delivery while meeting company quality standards. Manage daily client communication, using good judgment on when to involve the manager.
9. Meet internal and external deadlines for deliverables.
10. Thought Leadership - Integration: Strengthen category/client knowledge. Develop strategic understanding of industry trends, competition, and Nielsen opportunities. Make an impact for the team/client. Consult on client business issues related to innovation improvement.
11. Team/People: Be a role model for office behavior. Seek and provide guidance to peers. Mentor peers (formal or informal).

Requirements:

• University degree in Marketing, Economics, or related field (Postgraduate or MBA preferred)
• 2-4 years' experience in Primary Quantitative Market Research
• Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
• Good knowledge of advanced analysis methods and tools
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to collaborate
• Strong interpersonal skills
