As a Senior Research Analyst, you will perform a variety of research and analysis tasks to support consulting projects for federal and state governments, health plans, associations and foundations, hospitals, and health systems.
OSC/Lewin is seeking entry level candidates of bachelor's programs in fields such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, epidemiology, or other quantitative fields to fill roles in our Evaluation Economics and Predictive Modeling Capability. EEPM assists state and federal administrations such as the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services in evaluating and optimizing healthcare program operations through a combination of analytic and policy-driven research, modeling, and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to projects involving the evaluation of Medicare and Meidcaid programs
- Summarize and analyze data
- Literature reviews
- Develop and QC tables of results
- Draft reports

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Academic and/or work experience:
- Performing quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
- Overseeing day-to-day management of project tasks
- Preparing presentations and reports for clients
- Aptitude for interpreting data outputs and articulating findings
- Experience using software for data analysis, such as SAS, Python, R, Atlas TI, or Tableau
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with medical claims data and/or medical auditing data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, biostatistics, computer science, epidemiology, economics, or other quantitative or qualitative research fields
- Experience with machine learning, natural language processing, predictive modeling, simulation, probability, data visualization, qualitative coding, and querying large datasets
- Experience working with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working effectively as a member of a project team
- Healthcare or human services research experience
- Proven solid oral and written communication skills
