Wynd Labs is an early-stage startup focused on making public web data accessible for AI through contributions to Grass. Grass is a network sharing application allowing users to share unused bandwidth. This creates a residential proxy network rewarding individual IPs for provided bandwidth. Grass equitably routes traffic and meters data to fairly distribute rewards.

In non-technical terms: Grass unlocks earning potential by sharing unused internet bandwidth on personal devices.

The Role

We seek a Senior Rust Engineer (Backend) with deep backend experience to join a small, talented team. You'll architect scalable solutions, drive technical excellence, and support our vision for Grass shaping the internet's future.

Who You Are

• BS/MS in STEM or equivalent experience

• 4+ years of software development experience

• Ability to write high-quality, robust, and maintainable code

• Knowledge of building large-scale systems

• Experience identifying and solving issues in live software systems

• Familiarity with contemporary software development processes (CI/CD)

• Proficient in English

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop new features and software improvements

• Test, deploy, and debug backend API services

• Write clear, tested, documented code

• Create and review technical design, code, and documentation

• Contribute to Wynd's infrastructure (mobile, desktop, server-side applications)
