About the Role: As we grow, we are scaling up infrastructure and deployments, and monitoring health of all clients. This role involves joining the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, facilitating scalability for Dayshape. SREs will maintain and improve the cloud estate in Azure, automate tasks, improve deployment scalability, knowledge sharing, and observability. Responsibilities: Lead initiatives to enhance Dayshape’s cloud platform scalability. Maintain and improve Azure cloud estate. Improve SRE and other teams’ working lives via automation. Improve deployment scalability. Share SRE knowledge across the organization. Improve Dayshape observability through reporting and tool creation. Drive Cost of Giving Service (COGS) improvements. Diagnose and triage escalated issues. Support, mentor, and coach team members. Technologies: Azure, AzDevops, Terraform, Pulumi, Python, PowerShell scripting, YAML pipelines. About You: Strong experience with "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC), delivering IaC frameworks for other teams. Understanding of IaC patterns and practices for reliable, high-quality results (unit/integration testing, CI/CD). Python coding experience. Proficiency in IaC toolsets (Pulumi or Terraform). Designing and building Azure infrastructure considering observability, alerting, uptime SLAs and SLOs, and Azure DevOps pipelines. Excellent collaboration skills with engineering and customer-facing teams. Excellent written and verbal communication. Enthusiasm for new technologies. Ability to break down complex tasks. Problem-solving skills, and managing pressure. Mentoring junior team members. Compensation: Starting salary between £50,000 and £58,493, depending on experience.
