About the team:The Information Security organization advances the overall state of security at Rubrik. It builds technologies, tools, and processes to enable secure software development and protect data and systems. It monitors, responds to attacks, educates teams on security best practices, and manages data governance and third-party relationships.

You will partner with various parts of the business to build security solutions protecting the organization and customer environments. You will execute security engineering programs and manage security technologies across the board.

What you'll do:

• Deploy and operate security solutions in cloud and datacenter environments, supporting internal customers and FedRAMP requirements.
• Develop and automate security tasks, spanning Security Operations and Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage availability, capacity, and configuration of mission-critical applications and services.
• Define, measure, and monitor SLAs and SLOs for systems and services, aiming for high availability and reliability.
• Enhance monitoring systems for observability and proactive issue identification.
• Coordinate and manage incidents, upgrades, and changes for InfoSec applications and services.
• Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Assist in Security Incident investigations.
• Manage a scalable and highly available solution for security logging, driving logging onboarding for improved visibility.
• Perform Production Readiness Assessments of new services.
• Develop and maintain documentation and runbooks to reduce MTTR and inform future automation.
• Work cross-functionally across global time zones, requiring flexible work hours.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.
