DomainTools is seeking a senior test developer focused on web-based user interfaces and REST APIs to join our Software QA team.
We seek candidates who can research, develop, deliver, and manage cutting-edge techniques in software quality assurance and test writing with automated deployments. You will closely collaborate with development and operations teams to provide quality and speed in continuous testing deployments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests for web-based user interfaces and RESTful interfaces, focusing on conformance and performance.
- Write test statements and test plans based on requirement documents, documentation review, and SME interviews.
- Develop unit and system tests in Python and shell scripts.
- Generate testing results reports.
- Document testing environments and testing procedures.
- Assist with maintenance of Jenkins and GitLab automation systems.
Location: Remote - Philippines/US Business Working Hours
Compensation: 1,500,000 - 2,500,000 PHP
Requirements:
- Key Applicant Qualifications: 7+ years of experience with software development focused on quality assurance and testing.
- 2+ years of experience with Python programming, focusing on test development using the Pytest framework.
- Experience with Selenium or automated web browser testing.
- 1+ years of experience with continuous integration automation, such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- 2+ years of experience with Git or equivalent source code revision control.
Pluses (Desirable Skills):
- Experience in C, Golang, or PHP development.
- Development or administration experience with Internet protocols and services (DNS, HTTP, SMTP, RDAP, or BGP).
- Experience with Openstack API.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, or Docker.
- Debian or Red Hat specific system administration experience.
- Experience with code coverage analysis tools.
