Full-Time Senior Software Engineer in Test (Mobile)

• Take a proactive role in identifying and addressing issues early, driving continuous quality improvements and taking full ownership of tasks and outcomes.
• Promote and apply a shift-left testing approach, collaborating with developers during feature design and implementation to define test strategies and ensure testability.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming/scripting languages and automation tools.
• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
• Prepare and maintain test users and test data using internal tools and APIs.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Implement data-driven testing approaches where applicable.
• Develop automated tests for complex scenarios, including API, performance, security, integration, mobile, and snapshot/screenshot testing.
• Identify gaps in coverage and proactively address them.
• Analyze test results and generate reports on execution and defect trends.
• Mentor and guide less experienced Software Engineers in Test.
• Work closely with developers, manual QA testers, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate across multiple teams and manage testing in environments with complex interdependencies.
• Define, monitor, and improve quality metrics.
• Continuously improve test effectiveness by analyzing test results and production incidents.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance QA capabilities.
• Support and perform manual testing when needed.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in software test automation.
• Experience in mobile test automation and snapshot/screenshot testing frameworks/tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of mobile release processes (App Store / Google Play).
• Experience with accessibility testing of mobile apps.
• Experience with device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab).
• Experience in the logistics/e-commerce industry.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification.
