Full-Time Senior Technical Writer

Blackpoint Cyber is a leading provider of world-class cybersecurity threat hunting, detection, and remediation technology.

As a Senior Technical Writer, you'll create documentation for customers, understanding Blackpoint Cyber's products from software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

1. Research, write, and edit technical documents (user guides, configuration manuals, etc.) for diverse audiences.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive documentation.
3. Validate documentation accuracy through software testing.
4. Manage multiple projects balancing deadlines and priorities.
5. Develop and enforce writing guidelines for consistent style.
6. Stay updated with industry trends and Blackpoint's product portfolio.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of technical writing experience for cybersecurity products.
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Skill in tailoring documentation for various technical audiences.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
• Experience conducting thorough research (document analysis, software testing, demos, and expert interviews).
• Experience with topic-based authoring, task-oriented writing, and minimalist documentation approaches.
• Proven leadership experience in managing documentation projects.
• High-level mastery of technical writing best practices.
