Full-Time Senior Technical Writer - User Assistance

As a Senior Information Developer (Technical Writer) at CyberArk, you'll be part of a motivated team protecting large organizations.

The User Assistance (UA) team helps customers use our products for machine identity protection.

The UA team develops content for various audiences (CISOs, security experts, etc.)

Customers and team members rely on our documentation daily.

Responsibilities

• Learn core business, deliver value by designing user assistance.
• Work across tools and formats (markdown, HTML) to optimize user experience.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and UX designers to develop clear, concise, and friendly microcopy (tooltips, system messages).
• Gather contributions from subject matter experts for higher-quality content (Docs Like Code approach).

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience writing about complex software for diverse audiences.
• Strong English language skills (verbal & written).
• Excellent authoring and editing skills.
• Technical aptitude and curiosity about technology.
• Passion for helping users spend less time learning software.
• Comfort learning new technologies (e.g., Linux, Git Bash).
• Proven ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Experience developing excellent microcopy (tooltips, error messages).
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Madcap Flare or similar tools (Robohelp, Framemaker, mkdocs, markdown).
• Experience working on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac).
• Experience with source control software (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in relevant field (English, Technical Writing, CS).
