As our portfolio of brands grows, so does our desire to expand our SEO footprint. Our publications and communities are scaling rapidly, and we need an SEO Manager to help us reach our goals.
As our SEO Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our content marketing efforts. You will collaborate with editors and develop strategies for each publication.
Responsibilities:
- Meticulously plan and prioritize cluster development for specific publications.
- Develop, execute, and map keyword plans for clusters, aligning with internal customer journeys and potential business impact.
- Create and implement internal linking plans, and track their performance.
- Identify and prioritize content for upgrading and updating.
- Monitor and analyze cluster performance, informing content strategy.
- Identify AI-driven content solutions for production, distribution, and personalization.
- Identify and evaluate content cannibalization opportunities.
- Develop content structure, formats, best practices, and guidelines for high-quality content.
- Provide guidance and support to the Editorial team on sticking to the plan.
- Give perspectives on improving and adding value to content.
- Proactively report and monitor SEO performance with actionable advice.
Skills Required:
- 3-4+ years of SEO experience developing successful editorial strategies.
- Proven success in driving organic traffic growth and achieving ambitious goals.
- Solid SEO content fundamentals and understanding of each touchpoint's impact on search performance and business goals.
- Internal linking expertise and ideas for operationalizing a framework at scale.
- Experience with content cannibalization analysis.
- Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Strong reporting skills with visual reporting tools like Looker Studio.
- Ability to manage multiple brands/projects and prioritize workload.
Nice to Haves:
- SaaS SEO experience.
- New ideas, approaches, tools, websites, and platforms.
- Knowledge of current AI content tools and trends.
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 CAD per year
