Full-Time SEO Strategist

Are you an SEO leader with local SEO and franchise SEO expertise seeking your next career opportunity? Ignite Visibility, a fast-growing digital marketing company, is hiring a talented international SEO Strategist (supervisory level) to join our full-time remote team. This team lead supervisory role requires a senior SEO leader capable of working U.S. Eastern Standard Time.

Responsibilities:

1. Create comprehensive SEO strategies (national to local) for franchise accounts, prioritizing hyper-local optimization and unique franchise challenges.
2. Lead the implementation of the SEO playbook for franchise accounts.
3. Mentor and guide SEO coordinators, specialists, and project managers.
4. Conduct regular team meetings to align on best practices and provide solutions for complex SEO challenges.
5. Demonstrate leadership and delegation expertise.
6. Analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks, leading quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with franchise stakeholders.
7. Oversee the execution of location-specific and brand-wide SEO initiatives.
8. Mentor a team (project managers, specialists, coordinators, and interns).
9. Provide strategic insight to team members through weekly/bi-weekly 1-1 calls and/or training sessions (when not part of pod/department meetings).

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in SEO
• Expert in GA and Google Tag Manager
• Agency digital marketing experience
• Leadership and supervisory experience
• Franchise and multi-location SEO experience
• On-site SEO and link building knowledge
• Keyword assignment experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Social media and technical SEO knowledge
• WordPress and blogging experience
• Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube
• Client-facing experience
