SOC Manager - Remote, UK

Oversee the 24x7 Security Operations Centre (SOC), ensuring activities align with policy, standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead security operations team and analyst team in Security Operations and Incident Response tasks.
• Manage strategy, incident monitoring, handling, and detection/analysis.
• Maintain personnel shift schedules.
• Oversee L1, L2, and L3 analysts.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the team.
• Perform Security Incident Management.
• Oversee, monitor, and tune security systems.
• Maintain and deploy security sensors and tools.
• Participate in strategy and planning, contributing to operational success.
• Develop security policies/procedures (Run Book, Incident Management Plans, etc.).
• Ensure controls, policies, and procedures are operational.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and event reporting.
• Manage identification and response to security breaches.
• Develop and review performance metrics.
• Coordinate/communicate between support and business functions.
