Adjective & Co. is seeking a skilled and motivated Social Media Manager to assist with the development, execution, and optimization of social media strategies for our clients.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Work collaboratively to brainstorm and develop digital and social initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with broader campaigns. Generate engaging and platform-specific copy and content ideas for various social media channels.
- Content Planning: Create, manage, and evolve social media content calendars based on performance reporting and social listening.
- Community Management and Listening: Leverage social media listening tools to monitor, engage, and grow clients’ online communities across platforms, fostering positive interactions and relationships.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure success and inform future strategies.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms, providing actionable insights to clients and the team.
- Strategy Development: Assist in crafting and implementing comprehensive social media strategies that align with clients’ business objectives and brand voice.
Occasional travel for content capture may be required.
About You:
- Proven track record of creating and executing successful social media campaigns
- Knowledgeable about what works and what doesn’t work on social platforms
- Has a keen eye for photography and design
- Outstanding writing and proofing skills, including a familiarity with social SEO principles
- Knowledge of influencer marketing strategies
- Previous use of social media listening/management software
- Proactive and a self-starter
- Works well individually and as a team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Direct and specific in written and verbal communication
- Comfortable presenting in front of clients in person and on calls
- Gets excited to think outside the box and get creative
- Funny, witty, clever, and can write in a variety of voices and tones
- Has a high aptitude for learning new things and different industries
- Tech-savvy and always one step ahead of trends
- BA/BS in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience working in social media, preferably in an agency setting
- Knowledge of social media platforms including TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, X/Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Examples of successful accounts you have managed
- Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
- Knowledge of photography and social media design concepts (Photoshop/Lightroom/Premiere knowledge a plus)
