Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Social Media Supervisor will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand's online presence, fostering engagement with our target audience, and driving business growth through strategic social media initiatives.
The role will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms.
- Creating engaging content.
- Fostering community engagement.
- Managing influencer partnerships.
- Analyzing performance metrics.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for alignment with broader marketing objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy:
- Lead the ideation and development of social media campaigns (creative strategy, targeting, budgeting).
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing objectives and brand identity.
- Manage the social calendar and oversee all digital channels (updates, design, user experience, community management).
- Content Creation:
- Create compelling and visually appealing content for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Develop graphics, photos, videos, and written content highlighting products, services, and brand values.
- Oversee content production for social media assets (web, print/virtual, video).
- Community Engagement:
- Foster and maintain an active and engaged social media community.
- Cultivate a thriving social media presence across relevant channels.
- Influencer Marketing:
- Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify brand messaging and reach new audiences.
- Identify and engage with influencers aligned with brand values and target audience.
- Social Media Advertising:
- Develop and manage paid social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and achieve marketing goals.
- Monitor ad performance, optimize campaigns, and provide regular performance reports.
- Social Media Analytics:
- Analyze social media metrics and data to measure campaign and strategy success.
- Use insights to make data-driven decisions and continually improve performance.
- Trend Monitoring:
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in the animal feeds and pet food industry.
- Apply new trends and innovations to enhance social media presence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with digital solutions, design, and content teams to ensure a cohesive brand message.
- Coordinate social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant social media marketing certifications are a plus.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in agribusiness, pet food, or related fields. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices (organic and paid). Proficiency in content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, social media scheduling platforms). Strong written and visual communication skills. Experience in analyzing social media metrics and using insights for performance improvements. Familiarity with influencer marketing. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
