About the Opportunity: As a Software Developer in Test, you'll develop a quality-focused culture within the Agile team, creating test plans and strategies for each project. You're passionate about testing and ensuring bug-free products that meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and estimate work alongside designers and Product Owners.
- Be transparent about project progress.
- Identify and automate critical and repetitive test scenarios, overseeing their execution and maintenance.
- Ensure bugs are triaged and resolved promptly.
- Develop test plans for client UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Lead the Quality Assurance practice area through process improvements and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on the latest tools and technologies, including performance, security, and accessibility testing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and Software Engineering principles.
- 5+ years of industry experience in manual and automation testing.
- Expertise in functional, regression, cross-browser/device, exploratory, and REST/SOAP API testing.
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or other test runners.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL, testing frameworks (TestNG, Mocha, Chai, or Cucumber), and test management tools (TestRail, QAComplete, etc.).
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Experience with modern digital tools and AI-powered solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical evaluation of AI-assisted decision-making, and an understanding of its impact on software development.
- Adaptability to new technologies and trends, a mindset of continuous learning, and a curiosity in incorporating AI or automation to improve efficiency and problem-solving.
