Full-Time Software Development Engineer in Test

OverviewTen Mile Square seeks a passionate Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing team. The initial focus is developing a loan origination system for a financial services enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Lead test automation for the loan origination system using Node, Apollo GraphQL, Angular, Camunda, and AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3, MSK, Aurora).
• Collaborate with other SDETs.
• Design test plans and automated end-to-end/contract tests.
• Create a performance testing framework and run performance tests.
• Mentor junior test engineers.
• Collaborate with the product team on testing strategy.
• Actively contribute to an Agile team and promote Agile practices.
• Collaborate on development and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Potentially facilitate hiring and onboarding of SDETs.
• Demonstrate expertise in software development and automated testing (strong preference for TypeScript).
• Possess working knowledge of SQL and at least one frontend JavaScript framework (Angular preferred).
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar for end-to-end testing.
• Experience or exposure to K6, JMeter, or similar load testing frameworks.
• Experience testing backend and frontend components.
• Full software lifecycle participation (requirements to post-implementation).
• Must-Haves: Passion for technology, ability to learn new technologies quickly, attention to detail, high integrity, self-motivation, excellent communication skills.
