Software Engineer in Test
Review requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Communicate with internal teams to help identify missing requirements.
Estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities for projects.
Develop comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases.
Execute functional and non-functional tests (manual or automated).
Develop automated Test Cases based on in-house automation frameworks.
Perform thorough automated regression testing, analyze results, and troubleshoot failures.
Identify, document, and track issues in Jira.
Essential Skills & Experience
2-5 years of experience in Software Testing Automation.
- Knowledge of Selenium/WebDriver, Playwright
- Knowledge of OOP languages like Java/Groovy/C#
- University degree in Engineering/Computer Science
- Knowledge of basic SQL queries
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Spock, or Serenity
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis, or GitLab CI (plus)
- Understanding of Spring Java Enterprise Framework (plus)
- ISTQB certification foundation level (plus)
- Knowledge in Agile/Scrum (plus)
