Full-Time Software Engineering Team Lead

About the Role: At airSlate, we're looking for a passionate Software Engineering Team Lead to contribute to the next chapter of our company's growth. Our Editor Unit focuses on enhancing user experience in document creation, editing, and collaboration for pdfFiller. The team ensures reliability, speed, and scalability.

Tech Stack:

• Frontend: React, Redux, Webpack, Websocket
• Backend: Node.JS, PHP
• Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, Elasticache, RDS, S3)
• Tools: Atlassian products, Github + Github Actions, Grafana & OpenSearch, Argo CD

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a cross-functional team (frontend, backend, QA).
• Define technical direction aligned with product and business goals.
• Oversee development and delivery of new features.
• Ensure high-quality code through best practices and code reviews.
• Mentor and support team members' professional growth.
• Optimize workflows and team schedules.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience, web applications focus.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering teams (4-5+ people).
• Proven expertise in frontend (React, Redux) or backend (Node, Redis, Go).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools like Kubernetes (K8S).
• Track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, performant applications.
• Strong knowledge of modern development practices (CI/CD, testing, monitoring).
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers at various levels.
• Proficiency in English (B2 or higher).
• Knowledge of PHP (nice to have).
• Experience in SaaS (nice to have).
