Full-Time Software Quality Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:At Natera, we revolutionize the world of medicine by developing genetics products. We are looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer to help develop extensible, testable, and self-documenting software.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform software verification, define, and execute test cases for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in building and maintaining a data-driven test automation framework.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis of product issues.
• Evangelize new testing methodologies, best practices, and tools to improve test coverage.
• Work closely with developers throughout the SDLC to build quality into the development process.
• Develop the testing strategy for the Clinicogenomics platform.
• Testing automation and tool selection for the Clinicogenomics platform.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 8 years of experience testing n-tier systems (front-end and server-side).
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare IT experience beneficial.
• Experience in regulated environments a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Strong SQL skills and relational database knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with front-end test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Strong QA methodologies, test planning, system dependencies, and product integration knowledge.
