Full-Time Software Test Engineer (Automation)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Test Engineer with a strong background in automated testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure end-to-end product quality.
• Identify, document, and track bugs; drive them to closure with the development team.
• Provide clear test reports and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing, with strong exposure to automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Selenium or JMeter (experience in both would be an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques, QA methodologies, and software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
• Experience in performance/load testing.
