Job Details
Wasabi is seeking a Solutions Architect with AWS or other public cloud object storage experience.
Role Purpose: Leverage your storage and network experience to understand system operations at a massive scale.
Responsibilities:
- Explore the S3 storage protocol and its interactions with Wasabi services.
- Collaborate with Wasabi engineers globally for deployments, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Propose creative and innovative ideas to enhance the team.
- Find simple solutions to complex problems.
- Collaborate with channel sales teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Provide pre-sales technical consulting to channel partners (demos, designs, answers).
- Serve as a technical liaison between partners, customers, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in support engineering, sales engineering, or solution architecture.
- Experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of protocols like S3, TCP, UDP, SSL.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud object storage services and policies (AWS S3, IAM, Azure Blob, GCP).
- Basic understanding of reseller/channel business models.
- Experience with mission-critical, 24x7 systems.
- Knowledge of Linux and programming fundamentals.
- Experience presenting to customers and partners.
- Ability to multitask across multiple activities and projects.
- Ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
