Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning customer service and solution guidance.
As a Solutions Consultant, provide technical leadership and expertise in the customer's security transformation journey.
Define technical solutions to secure customer business imperatives and ensure value realization.
Evangelize industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services.
Impact:
- Meet/exceed sales quotas via strategic, technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
- Position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the PANW portfolio based on customer needs.
- Conduct discovery to understand technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams for successful solution implementation and adoption.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and influence via presentations, demos, technical engagements, and workshops.
- Lead technical validation efforts for technical win in assigned opportunities.
- Orchestrate support resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) for a cohesive strategy.
- Promote end-to-end solutions to ensure quicker business value realization.
- Understand competitive landscape and differentiate leadership.
- Invest in technical and professional skills to contribute to customer success.
- Actively participate in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
- Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships.
Experience:
- Understanding of data networking, modern application design, and cloud architectures.
- Delivering cybersecurity solutions for technical challenges and new business initiatives.
- Influencing stakeholders and gaining buy-in.
- Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
- Partnering with Customer Support for successful implementation and adoption.
- Experience in complex sales with long processes, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions.
- Proficient in English.
