Full-Time Solutions Consultant

Solutions Consultant is the evolution of traditional Sales Engineering, focusing on customer needs and ensuring value realization.

Responsibilities

• Meeting sales quotas through strategic account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
• Positioning, demonstrating, and creating high-level designs based on customer needs.
• Conducting discovery to understand customer technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
• Collaborating with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams for successful solution implementation.
• Demonstrating strong communication and influencing skills through presentations, demos, and workshops.
• Leading successful technical validation efforts.
• Orchestrating resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) for a cohesive strategy.
• Promoting end-to-end solutions, including PANW and partner services, to maximize customer value realization.
• Understanding the competitive landscape and differentiating leadership.
• Continuously developing technical and professional skills, participating in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
• Identifying technical stakeholders and cultivating relationships to drive security architecture transformation.

Experience

• Understanding of data networking, modern application design, and cloud architectures.
• Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence business initiatives.
• Influencing key stakeholders, ideally with prior pre-sales experience.
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions like Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC Transformation.
• Partnering with Customer Support for successful implementation.
• Experience in complex sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions (preferred).
