Solutions Consultant Manager is the advanced version of Sales Engineer Manager role, leading teams for best customer service, solution guidance, and value realization. You are the technical leader for your District Solutions Consulting team.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and hire new Solutions Consultants.
- Train, mentor, and review employees.
- Support field Solutions Consultant team.
- Lead technical validation efforts.
- Define, create, and monitor individual development plans.
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams.
- Provide technical leadership in customer interactions.
- Drive Palo Alto Networks Platformization efforts.
- Act as an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Present as an expert to all customer levels.
- Discuss competitor products and position Palo Alto Networks as the best.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D.
- Develop technical strategies with sales counterparts to accelerate growth.
Requirements:
- Experience as a pre-sales System Engineer Manager or Senior System Engineer/Specialist.
- Industry knowledge of security product market trends and roadmap.
- Knowledge of competitor offerings.
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing security solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Quota-driven attitude.
- Fluency in German and English.
