Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, focusing on customer understanding, solution guidance, and value realization for Palo Alto Networks investments. You'll provide technical leadership and expertise, guiding customers through their security transformation journey.
Your Impact
- Meet/exceed sales quotas through strategic, technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
- Position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the PANW portfolio based on customer needs.
- Conduct thorough discovery to understand and articulate technical, operational, and commercial customer imperatives.
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams for successful solution implementation and adoption.
- Demonstrate strong communication and influence skills through presentations, demos, technical engagements, and workshops.
- Lead successful technical validations to ensure technical wins.
- Orchestrate support resources (specialists, channel resources, customer support) for a cohesive strategy.
- Promote end-to-end solutions (PANW and/or partner services) to expedite business value realization.
- Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate Palo Alto Networks leadership.
- Continuously develop technical and professional skills, contributing to customer success and participating in the Solutions Consultant community.
- Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships to build and drive security architecture transformation roadmaps.
Your Experience
- Understanding of data networking, modern application design, and cloud architectures.
- Proven ability to deliver cybersecurity solutions, solve technical challenges, and influence new business initiatives.
- Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders; prior pre-sales experience is preferred.
- Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
- Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing network security, SASE, SaaS, cloud security, and/or SOC transformation technologies.
- Collaboration with Customer Support functions for successful solution implementation and adoption.
- Experience with complex sales processes, involving multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions.
- Strong English proficiency.
