Full-Time Solutions Consultant - SLED

Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning to best serve customers.

Your Impact:

• Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans.
• Understand customer business requirements, position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across PANW portfolio.
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform.
• Build customer relationships by helping customers achieve increased productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and greater flexibility.
• Conduct discovery to understand and articulate technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
• Work closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, influence through presentations and demos, and conduct impactful technical engagements.
• Lead successful technical validation efforts.
• Demonstrate cross-functional leadership.
• Promote end-to-end solutions.
• Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate PANW's leadership.
• Continuously invest in technical and professional skills, participating in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
• Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships.

Your Experience:

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering.
• Understanding of data networking, modern application design, and cloud architectures.
• Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions.
• Influencing key stakeholders.
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
• Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions (Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, SOC Transformation).
• Partnering with Customer Support.
• Experience in complex sales, multi-product solutions.

• Works with large organizations around the world.

Compensation:

Starting base salary + commission target is expected to be between $198,000 - $250,000/YR.
