Full-Time Solutions Engineer

At Jungle Scout, we're building the best Amazon competitive intelligence tools for Amazon sellers and brands. We are looking for a Solutions Engineer – Data Cloud. This role will connect technology, data, and customer needs to activate impactful data solutions.

Day in the life of a Solutions Engineer:

• Support Product, Customer Success, Professional Services on customer calls to understand core needs and develop solution specifications.
• Present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Build data solutions from provided specifications.
• QA custom datasets built for customers.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to resolve questions and troubleshoot data anomalies.
• Create queries, reports, and internal dashboards to illustrate data value for sales enablement.
• Collaborate with teams to manage customer timelines and support onboarding processes.
• Support the creation of onboarding guides, FAQs, and other materials for customer enablement.
• Connect with the team through scrum meetings and Slack updates.
• Bonus: Collaborate with engineering and data teams to create delivery pipelines for custom data.

Who you are:

• Customer-Facing Data Expert: 3+ years experience working with customers on data solution implementation/integration.
• Experienced Data Integrator: Hands-on experience with data integration, analysis, and pipeline building.
• Creative Problem Solver: Dig into complex challenges and design practical solutions.
• Strong Communicator: Clearly explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
• Skilled in SQL and Python: Write clean, efficient SQL and use Python for automation and analysis.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with modern data stacks.
• Reliable Multi-Tasker: Manage multiple projects and timelines with attention to detail.
• Customer-First Thinker: Focused on delivering value and insights to customers.
• Quality-Oriented Contributor: Take ownership of work impact.

Must Have Technical Skills:

• Expertise in SQL for data analysis
• Experience with Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience building and troubleshooting ETL and data pipelines
• Experience with Data Lakes (S3/Glue preferred)
• Experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Experience with reporting infrastructure (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc)
• Experience with common data integration patterns and systems
• Experience with a BI Tool

• Experience in eCommerce
