Canvas is revolutionizing the remodeling, architecture, and interior design industry with AI and computer vision technology. We use LiDAR-enabled scans to create precise 3D models of homes.
As an SQA Engineer, you'll join our Visualization & Tooling team. You'll work on our proprietary 3D Web CAD tooling product, focusing on a 50/50 blend of manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities:
- Join an established SQA team as a Full Stack QA engineer.
- Test usability, feature completion and edge cases in a 3D Web CAD tooling.
- Create manual tests and report/test bugs.
- Run manual/automated tests (Backend).
- Create backend autotests.
- Support/fix autotests as needed.
- Increase test automation coverage and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years in QA, with 1+ year of test automation experience.
- Backend test automation experience (API, Swagger).
- Strong knowledge of tools like curl, postman, proxyman, and developer tools.
- Documentation testing (requirements, one-pagers, designs).
- Understanding of Client-Server architecture.
- Proficiency in test documentation (bugs, tests, diagrams).
- Experience with task tracking.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to clearly document work.
- Positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Backend test automation proficiency in Python.
- Experience with JIRA.
